The bulk water station is located at the Public Works building located at 420 W Grant St. The cost for water is $10.00 per 1000 gallons. For commercial accounts the cost is $15.00 per 1000 gallons. Water is purchased at City Hall located at 101 N 4th St. No money is accepted at the fill station.Public Works

Public Works
The City Landfill is located at 874 Olds Rd ( At the end of Kimball St). It is open Monday thru Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The current tipping fees are as follows: 8-foot trailers and pickup beds are $30.00 per load. Loads on trailers exceeding 8 feet, as well as commercial haulers, are weighed and the cost is $150.00 per ton with a $30.00 minimum. Yard waste and compostable and/or recyclable material are FREE. Also, note that cars are charged the 8-foot trailer fee of $30.00 per load. The City does not trim, maintain or remove any trees from the right of ways, boulevard areas or personal property. It is the home owners responsibility to properly maintain the trees in these areas. The City does offer a 50/50 program to help offset the cost of trimming or removal. For information on this program contact Public Works 307-358-9750.Public Works
