On behalf of the Douglas Police Department, I would like to welcome you to our website. The men and women of the Douglas Police Department take great pride in ourselves, our organization, and our city. We are committed to providing excellence in service as a “full-service policing” agency, meaning we go above and beyond just responding to calls.

Our success is largely attributed to the dedication of our professional staff. We are committed to hiring only the best who display a passion to serve. Many of our employees have grown up in or around Douglas, and others specifically moved here for the Douglas “sense of community” vibe. Our sworn staff consist of the Chief of Police, Lieutenant, two Sergeants, Detective, two School Resource Officers, and twelve patrol officers. Our team is assisted by an Administrative Assistant, Municipal Court/Records Clerk, and Community Service Officer.
