Douglas Blueprint

Throughout Spring 2024, the City will be undergoing a reimagined comprehensive planning process that will function more like a “blueprint” for the City for the next 5-10 years.  This “blueprint” will emphasize community values and implementation strategies with a focus on getting things done.

Community Outreach

At the end of February, the City and its consultant, Ayres Associates, hosted a variety of engagement sessions to gain a better understanding of the community’s vision and values.  Residents of all ages and backgrounds came together to share their thoughts on activating downtown spaces, recreation, housing, mobility, future growth, and other areas related to community development.
